Areas of Emphasis

Zhongjun practices in all aspects of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition. He specializes in machinery, mechanical engineering and design patents and has extensive experiences in both patent prosecution and litigation. He represents clients in patent re-examinations and invalidation proceedings as well as appeal and infringement lawsuits. His experience further extends to anti-counterfeiting and border enforcement procedures of intellectual property rights.

Education and Related Experience
Zhongjun earned his M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from North Jiaotong University in 1983 and worked as a researcher in Chinese Academy of Agricultural Machinery for five years until 1988. He studied European patent practice in UK from 1995 to 1996. Zhongjun has practiced intellectual property law in Beijing since 1989.

Professional Activities
Zhongjun speaks on intellectual property issues on various international occasions. He is a member of Chinese Group of AIPPI and LES, and All China Patent Attorneys Association.
