Areas of Emphasis

Xuemin focuses on trademarks, unfair competition, domain name protection, copyrights and related intellectual property matters. Xuemin has extensive experiences in all phases of trademark procurement, opposition, cancellation as well as administrative and judicial enforcement proceedings. He represents individuals, not-for-profit organizations, international and multinational corporations in various matters including infringement, anti-counterfeiting and dispute resolutions. He also provides counseling and strategic advice on licensing, franchising, transfers, mergers and acquisitions and sales of assets relating to intellectual property rights.

Education and Related Experience
Xuemin earned his B. A. degree in international relations and law from Institute of International Relations in 1987. He studied intellectual property law in U. K. in 1996. Xuemin practiced in a patent and trademark firm in Beijing since 1990 before joining Zhongzi Law Office in 2001.

Professional Activities
Xuemin is the author of a number of articles on intellectual property matters, and co-author of the book "Trademark Law and Practice". He is a frequent speaker in various international seminars, conferences and training courses. Xuemin is an active member of INTA and was elected INTA Board Member in 2002 (for the term 2003 to 2005), he is also a member of INTA International Panel of Neutrals.
